«Plant «Machines and systems» LTD. was established in 2010 by Association Ukranian Innovation companies in collaboration with Ukranian center of commercialization & technology transfer.

Mission - to provide a realization of new competitive Ukrainian technology, which has no analogs at the internal and external markets and has obvious operational and technological advantages.

Objective - building of a plant with production capacity - 100 000 variative systems per year.

Production - reducers (power variators) with geared linkage mechanism.

Current stage of the project:

  • Laboratory pattern was created.
  • Laboratory tests were conducted.
  • Ukraine patent was obtained.
  • Technical documentation was developed.

Tasks & Technologies

The main advantage of the unit is transmission with the gear CVT (continuously variable transmission), which allows to vary continuously the ratio of the drive shaft to the driven shaft, therefore eliminating the need to install transmission.

Application of new units in transmissions allows:

  • eliminate a stepped change of velocity ;
  • significantly expand the scope of variable speed drives;
  • reduce energy consumption by 10-15% or more depending on operating conditions;
  • improve the reliability and durability of machines and mechanisms;
  • reduce the capital intensity in a halve and reduce costs by 10-25%

New type units can replace:

  • conventional motors, which have a constant speed of rotation of output shaft;
  • Gearboxes,which discretely change the frequency of rotation of output shaft;
  • adjusted electric drives;
  • friction and V-belt variable-speed drive.
